Short Bio

Colin Wright is the author of over 30 books and the creator of MKE Meetups. His work frequently explores intentional living and the evolution of modern community and relationships. Noticing that social incentives have migrated online, leaving many adults feeling isolated and local businesses struggling for foot traffic, Colin launched MKE Meetups as a way to help rebuild local communities and social infrastructure. He believes that tight-knit social fabrics are vital for the health of individuals and communities, and aims to provide tool and resources to help Milwaukeeans find their people and to support the local businesses that have helped shape the city’s unique character.
